How we help
Our Family Connections Centre provides a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where children and families can spend time together and feel comfortable, supported and respected. Appointments are available now for supervised visits and changeovers, with child-focused spaces, activities and facilities designed to help children feel at ease. What we offer:

This fee covers the cost to deliver this service. We do not receive any other funding for this service.
Fees for supervised sessions and changeovers are total fees. The cost is shared between parents according to their parental agreement or court orders. All other fees are charged per person or per report.
- Intake: $180 on weekdays, $225 on Saturdays or $300 on Sundays.
- Supervised sessions: $120 per hour on weekdays, $150 per hour on Saturdays or $200 per hour on Sundays.
- Changeovers: $90 on weekdays, $112.50 on Saturdays or $150 on Sundays.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: 100% of the fee.
- Cancellations with 24 to 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the fee.
- Observational report covering up to 8 sessions: $600.
- Observational report covering more than 8 sessions: $750.
- Attendance record report: $120.
- Court appearance: $900 per day.
- Subpoena: $200.

Family support
Help for your whole family to grow stronger together
Getting started begins with an application from both parents. We’ll contact each parent individually when we receive their application and explain what happens next. Once we have both applications, we’ll arrange a phone screening and intake session for each parent, as well as a familiarisation session for the child.
